Ukraine: Tonight! Semi-Final 1

Ukraine starts tonight the search for the representative for Stockholm. Three shows will help to find the contestant who will represent Ukraine at the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 in Stockholm. Tonight will fight 9 hopefuls to get one of only 3 tickets to the national final, which takes place on 21st February. The show will be hosted by Dimitri Tankovich and Aleksander Pedan. The voting will be a combination of jury and tele votes.

Anastasia Prykhodko represented Russia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 with her song "Mamo" (#11). How good are her chances in tonights show?

Mariya Yaremchuk won the Ukrainian national final 2014 and was honored to represent her country in Copenhagen with the song "Tick-Tock". She ended on 6th place with 113 points. Do you remember her Eurovision entry?


The winner of the Ukrainian national final will be honored to represent Ukraine in the second half of the second Semi-Final at the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 in Stockholm. Who should represent Ukraine in Sweden? Stay tuned..
