Norway: Tonight! "Melodi Grand Prix 2016" - Final

Norway will decide in tonights national final of "Melodi Grand Prix 2016" who will represent the country at the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 in Stockholm. There are ten contestants in the battle to get the most votes. The show will be hosted by Silya Nymoen and Kåre Magnus Bergh.

Mørland & Debrah Scarlettwho have won "MGP 2015" with "A Monster Like Me", will perform tonight again their entry in Oslo Spectrum. Who knows, maybe both of them are performing their brand new solo singles. Mørland released last week his new single "Skin" and Debrah Scarlett released yesterday her debut single "To Figure".

Voting:
  • Round 1 - After all contestants performed their possible Eurovision entry four of them will be voted for the second round.
  • Round 2 - In the so called "Gold Final" the winner will be chosen by the audience.

Mørland & Debrah Scarlett won MGP 2015 and represented Norway at the Eurovision Song Contest last May in Vienna with the song "A Monster Like Me". The ended on 8th place in the Grand Final with 102 points.


The winner of "Melodi Grand Prix 2016" will be honored to represent Norway at the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 in Stockholm. Who should participate in the second half of the second Semi-Final on 12th May 2016 in Sweden?
