Italy: Tonight! "Sanremo 2016" - Final

"Festival di Sanremo 2016" comes to an end tonight. After three pre-rounds, followed by the Semi-Final yesterday, it's tonight time to find out who will win "Sanremo 2016". The show will be hosted by Carlo Conti, joined by co-hosts Gabriel Garko, Madalina Ghenea and Virginia Raffaele.

In the beginning one of those five will get a televote wildcard:

  5. Bluvertigo - "Semplicemente"

Final Voting:
  • First Round
    40% televotes
    30% expert jury
    30% demoscopic jury
Top 3 will be announced, than the second voting round starts. The winner of the second voting round wins "Sanremo 2016" and get the chance to represent Italy at the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 in Stockholm.

"Festival di Sanremo 2016" - Show dates:

Il Volo represented Italy at the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 in Vienna. The three tenors ended with "Grande Amore" on 3rd place in the Eurovision final with 292 points. Il Volo were the winner by the televotes. Should they have won the competition? Watch again their Eurovision performance...

The winner of the Sanremo Festival 2016 will get the honor to represent Italy this year in Stockholm at the 61st edition of the Eurovision Song Contest. Italy is one of the big five members and will be automatically qualified to the Eurovision final on 14th of May 2016 in Stockholm.
