Denmark: Lighthouse X wins "DMGP" with "Soldiers Of Love"

Denmark found their reprsentative for the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 in Stockholm. The national final of "Dansk Melodi Grand Prix" took place yesterday in Horsens and was hosted by by Jacob Riising, Hilda Heick and Annette Heick. The band Lighthouse X won "DMGP 2016" with their song "Soldiers Of Love".

Ten contestants were in the battle to win the competition in Horsens. After all the performances three of them were announced to perform again in the "Super Final". First round was mixed jury and televotes.

Result "Super-Final":

  1. Lighthouse X – Soldiers of love (42%)
  2. Anja Nissen – Never alone (36%)
  3. Simone – Heart shaped hole (22%)
With 42% chose the audience Lighthouse X as winner of "Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2016". Watch here their performance from yesterdays show.

As winner of "DMGP 2016" Lighthouse X are honored to represent Denmark at the 61st Eurovision Song Contest in May in Stockholm. Lighthouse X will perform "Soldiers Of Love" in the second half of the first Semi-Final on 10th of May 2016 in Stockholm.
