The long waiting in Greece is over. ERT, Greek broadcaster, confirmed yesterday that the band Argo will represent Greece at the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 in Stockholm. Lead singer of the band is Christina Lachana. Other band members are Maria Venetikidou, Vladimiros Sofianidis, Kostas Topouzis, Ilias Kesidis and Alekos Papadopoulos. More details about their Eurovision entry will be announced soon.

Maria-Elena Kyriakou represented Greece at the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 in Vienna with the song "One Last Breathe". She ended only on 19th place in the Eurovision final with 23 points.
Argo will participate in the first half of the first Semi-Final on 10th May 2016 in Stockholm. Will they make it to the final of the Eurovision Song Contest?
