Lithuania: Result "Eurovizija 2016" - Show 8

The eighth pre-recorded show of the Lithuanian national selection "Eurovizija 2016" was aired yesteday. In total performed 10 contestants again their possible Eurovision entry and fighted for the votes from the jury and the televotes. At the end two candidates were eliminated and eight lucky candidates got enough votes and make it to the next round.

6. Aistė Pilvelytė – "You Bet"
7. Valdas Lacko – "Stay Tonight"
8. Rūta Šciogolevaitė – "United"
9. Donny Montell – "I've Been Waiting For This Night"
10. Ieva Zasimauskaitė – "Life (Not That Beautiful)"

Monika Linkyte and Vaidas Baumila represented Lithuania at the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 in Vienna with the song "This Time". Monika & Vaidas ended on 18th place in the Eurovision final.

The winner of "Eurovizija 2016" will be honoured to represent Lithuania at the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 in Sweden. Who will participate in the first half of the second Semi-Final on 12th May 2016 in Stockholm? Stay tuned..
