Lithuania: Tonight! "Eurovizija 2016" - Show 2


Lithuanian journey to find their representative for the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 in Stockholm in May goes on. The second - pre-recorded - show will be aired tonight on LTR. The show will be hosted by Andrius Rožickas and Gerūta Griniūtė. Show starts at 8:00 pm (cet) and these are the songs for tonights show...

One of the national jury members are Vaidas Baumila, who represented Lithuania at the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 in Vienna together with Monika Linkyte and the song "This Time". 

 After the first show last week their were already three candidates eleminated. Here is the result from 15th January 2016 with their points.

  2. Erica Jennings – "Leading Me Home" (10 Points)
  3. Petunija – "Tomorrow" (8 Points)

  6. Dovydas Petrošius – "Starlight" (5 Points - eliminated)
  7. Elena Jurgaitytė – "I Won't Come Back" (4 Points - eliminated)
  8. Vlad Max – "Don't Wanna Let It Go" (3 Points - eliminated)
Winner of the evening was former Eurovision participant (ESC 2012) Donny Montell with the song "I've Been Waiting For This Night".

Monika Linkyte and Vaidas Baumila represented Lithuania at the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 in Vienna with the song "This Time". Monika & Vaidas ended on 18th place in the Eurovision final.

The winner of "Eurovizija 2016" will be honoured to represent Lithuania at the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 in Sweden. Who will participate in one of the Semi-Finals on 10th or 12th of May 2016 in Stockholm? Stay tuned..
