Belgium: VRT revealed "Eurosong 2016" song titles

The first show from this year national selection "Eurosong 2016" was aired last Sunday and was hosted by Peter van de Veire.

Broadcaster VRT revealed already the song titles of the potential Eurovision entries - here they are:
  • Adil Aarab - "In Our Nature"
  • Astrid Destuyver - "Everbody Aches"
  • Amaryllis Uitterlinden - "Kick The Habit"
  • Laura Tesoro - "What's The Pressure"
  • Tom Frantzis - "I'm Not Lost"

All contestants will perform their song next Sunday, 10th January 2016. The will get feedback from Beverly Jo Scott and Tom helsen, experts for this evening.

What have you missed in the first show? - All contestants performed a cover version of a former Eurovision entry. Together the performed "Heroes", the ESC winning song 2015 from Måns Zelmerlöw.

One of the experts was Alexander Rybak, Winner of the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 with "Fairytale". He performed a Eurovision Medley. If you missed the show you can watch it here:

"Eurosong 2016" - Show dates:

  • 03.01.2016 - Cover Songs
  • 10.01.2016 - Premiere potential ESC entry
  • 17.01.2016 - National Final
Voting will be a combination of jury votes (50%) and 50% from the audience.

The winner of "Eurosong 2016" will be honoured to represent Belgium at the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 in Sweden. Who will participate in one of the Semi-Finals on 10th or 12th of May 2016 in Stockholm? Stay tuned..
