TVR, Romanian broadcaster, announced today in a press conference this years contestants for the Romanian national selection "Selecţia Naţională". In total are 12 hopefuls in the battle to get one of six tickets for the national final on 6th March 2016.

- Jukebox – "Come On Everybody"
- Mihai Bajinaru – "Never Too Late"
- Mihai Traistariu – "Paradisio"
- Ovidiu Anton – "Moment of Silence"
- Vanotek feat. The Code & Georgian – "I’m Coming Home"
- Xandra - "Superhuman"

Mihai Traistariu already represented Romania at the Eurovision Song Contest 2004 very successful with the song "Tornero". As expected he is on the list for this years selection with the song "Paradisio". How big are his chances to return to the Eurovision stage this May in Stockholm?

- 04.03.2016: Semi-Final
- 06.03.2016: National Final
The winner of "Selecţia Naţională" will be honored to represent Romania in the second half of the second Semi-Final on 12th May 2016 in Stockholm. Who should represent Romania at the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 in Sweden?
