Sweden kicks off tonight with the first show from this years Melodifestivalen live from Gothenburg. Tonights show will be hosted by Gina Dirawi and Petra Mede. Petra Mede is well known for hosting the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 in Malmö and for co-hosting last years Eurovision Greatest Hits in London with Graham Norton.

Albin & Matthias Andréasson – "Rik"
Anna Book – "Himmel för två" (disqualified)
Robin Bengtsson – "Constellation Price"
Ace Wilder – "Don’t Worry"
Anna Book was disqualified earlier this week. Her song was already the Moldovan national selection 2014 in English lyrics. Anna will perform her entry in the show, but without any chance to go on in the competition. Two of the songs will go straigt to the national final. The third place will perform again on 5th March 2016 in the second chance show "Andra Chansen". The audience can vote via phone or app.

The winner of Melodifestivalen 2016 will participate in the grand final of the 61st Eurovision Song Contest on 14th of May 2016 in the Final - Stockholm You can find out more about Melodifestivalen here:
