Mei Finegold was chosen internally by IBA to represent Israel at this years Eurovision Song Contest in Copenhagen. Today IBA announced that the National Final will take place in Jerusalem on March 5th.
Mei Fingold recorded three different songs for the national selection and was very busy last weeks to shot videos for each of the song. Two days ago we informed you about the video shot for 'Same Heart':
Here are more details about the songs and where the video shooting took place.
These are the three songs from Mei for Eurovision 2014:
- Nish'eret iti (Staying with me)
Music: Loren de Paz & Chen Metzger Eder
Lyrics: Loren de Paz
Video shot: Israeli Railway Museum in Haifa inside an old train - Same Heart
Music & Lyrics: Rami Talmid
Video shot: Hameginim Forest outside Jerusalem and in an abondoned industrial complex - Be Proud
Music & Lyrics: Mei Finegold
Video shot: Reading Power Station in Tel Aviv
About the last busy weeks of producing the songs and filming the videos Mei said:
“I didn’t realise the fact that we shot three videoclips in one week. It was very challenging and interesting. Facing a project like this is more different than anything I knew, as decisions must be made right away and without a plan B, but this was very magical as well. The whole team gave its heart and soul to this project and the work was very professional and fun. Every location turned right away to a place of joy and laughter. The final results are being prepared right now in the editing rooms and I can’t wait to let the public hear the songs and watch the videoclips. I hope that everyone will be pleased, just like me.”
Video premiere for all three songs will be on 27th of February on all IBA's channels on TV, radio and internet until the National Final on March 5th.
