RÚV, the broadcaster from Iceland, already announced this years participants for their national selection 'Söngvakeppnin'. 10 acts fought for the ticket to Copenhagen in two Semi-Finals. One of them was on 1st of February and the second Semi-Final was on 8th of February.
One of these 6 artists will be Islands 27th entry in the ESC-history of the most western Part of the Eurovision family:
The starting order will be:
1. F.U.N.K. - Þangað til ég dey
2. Ásdís María Viðarsdóttir – Amor
3. Sigríður Eyrún Friðriksdóttir - Lífið kviknar á ný
4. Gissur Páll Gissurarson – Von
5. Greta Mjöll Samúelsdóttir - Eftir eitt lag
6. Pollapönk - Enga fordóma
