Conchita Wurst won the Eurovision Song Contest last year in Copenhagen with the song "Rise Like A Phoenix" and brought the contest back to Austria this year. OGAE Austria organized the official "Euro Fan Cafe" in the main week of the Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna with a lot of former ESC participants.
OGAE Austriainvites all club members and fans of the Eurovision Song Contest to a special "X-Mas Event" on 12th December 2015 in Vienna. You have the chance to see Axel Hirsoux (ESC 2014, Belgium) and András Kállay-Saunders (ESC 2014, Hungary) live on stage. Entrance is free.
Axel Hirsouxwon 2014 the pre-selection "Eurosong" in Belgium and represented his country last year in Copenhagen with the song "Mother". His brand new single "Après L'hiver" will be out soon.
András Kállay-Saunders reached one of the best results in Hungarian Eurovision Song Contest history with the song "Running". He ended on 5th place in the Eurovision final. Earlier this year he released with the Kallay Saunders Band the album "Delievery Boy". They released their latest single "Faded"some weeks ago.

It's already five years ago since Sunstroke Project represented Moldova in Osla at the Eurovision Song Contest with Olia Tira and the song "Run Away". Today they released the first single "Not Giving It Up" under the new label Ragoza Music.

"The song is dedicated to my beloved wife. Sergey Stepanov and Sergey Ialovitski helped to finish the job. It's a very lyrical track with a wonderful solo brought to you by the great Epic Sax Guy. We've tried to step aside from the standard songwriting forms and instead of the second couplet we've made a 30-sec sax solo. The good chorus is easy to be remembered." said Anton Ragoza in our interview some weeks ago.

Today there was a press conference were the starting order for the two Semi-Finals were drawn. RAI, Italian broadcaster, announced yesterday the details and rules for the 66th edition of the "Festival di Sanremo 2016". The Sanremo festival will be between 9th and 13th February 2016. The winner will be honoured to represent Italy at the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 in Stockholm.

The winner of the San Remo Festival 2016 will get the honor to represent Italy next year in Stockholm at the 61st edition of the Eurovision Song Contest. Italy don't have to qualify - as one of the big 5 countries they are already qualified. Italy was represented this year in Vienna by Il Volo. The three tenors ended with "Grande Amore" on 3rd place in the Eurovision final with 292 points. Il Volo were the winner by the televotes. Watch again their Eurovision performance...

TRM, Moldovan broadcaster, announced the schedule and rules for the national selection "O Melodie Pentru Europa 2016". The winner will be chosen in the national final on 27th of February 2016. The voting will be a combination of jury (50%) and televotes (50%). Songs can be submitted till 7th December 2015 via email.

Tim Schou, who represented Denmark as singer of the band A Friend In London in Düsseldorf with the song "New Tomorrow", released last week a very hot video for his unreleased song "Gravity". In the last days we spoke with Tim about the song, the video and about the work on his debut album..
"The song "GRAVITY" is about escaping from reality, and we all do that every day. We do it when we make love to someone, we do it when we go out drinking, we do it when we take painkillers, we do it in many different ways.. So the video is just showing one of those ways to forget about reality for a minute." said Tim about "Gravity".
"There is no official press information/release about "GRAVITY". This was never suppose to be an official release. I just put up the video and song for my FRIENDS that keep supporting me all around the world. They are so patient with me, while I'm recording my debut solo album. I know they are waiting anxiously, and it's mindblowing that they supporting me like they do. So this is all about interacting with my friends and letting them in on what I'm working on in Los Angeles." he continued.

Nadine Beiler represented Austria at the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 in Düsseldorf. She was the first participant since 2004 who got a ticket to perform in the Eurovision final. Her song "The Secret Is Love" ended on 18th place. Do you remember her entry?
Since 2013 she is part of the group Sunrise16. Besides Nadine the band members are Sara Koell (Vocals), Jason Dunman (Vocals) and Harald Fahrngruber (DJ / Production). They already released some songs and here you can see the latest single "Imaginarium".
