One year ago represented Leonor Andrade Portugal at the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 in Vienna with her song "Há um Mar que nos Separa", but she failed to qualify to the Grand Final. Last year in October released Leonor Andrade a promising new single called "Strong For To Long".
In the last month Leonor was working on her debut album "Setembro" (Engl. "September"). The album includes 10 tracks, some of them are her latest singles "Já Conheci" and "Strong For To Long". The album is with songs in English and Portugese languages.

Minus One - "The Potatoe Song" (Released: 27.05.2016)
Cypriot rock band Minus One represented their country at the Eurovision Song Contest this year in Stockholm with their song "Alter Ego". They ended on 21st place in the Grand Final with 96 points.

Mørlandrepresented Norway at the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 in Vienna with Debrah Scarlett and the song "A Monster Like Me". Successful they ended on 8th place in the Grand Final. After Eurovision Mørland released the follow up singles "No Firewall"or "Skin". In the last months he was working on his debut album "Make A Sail", which is out since yesterday and includes 10 songs.
Besides his Eurovision entry Mørland shows also other sides as a songwriter with uplifting and energetic moments. With his unique voice he delivers very personal lyrics carried by beautiful pop melodies.

Former Westlife-singer Nicky Byrne represented Ireland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 in Stockholm with "Sunlight", but failed to qualify to the Grand Final. Nicky signed a contract with Universal Music Ireland and released his debut album "Sunlight" on 6th May 2016, which includes 10 songs. It's already seven years ago since Arash and AySel represented Azerbaijan at the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 in Moscow with the song "Always". Yesterday it was exactly 8 years ago since Russian super star Dima Bilan won the Eurovision Song Contest 2008 with his song "Believe".
Dima Bilan released early Februar this year his latest single "Неделимые / Inseparable". Yesterday, 8 years after his ESC victory, he premiered the brand new video for his latest single.

The video was shot in Los Angeles, under the direction of American producer Samuel Aroutounian. Director was the the Californian fashion photographer David Mushegain. Supermodel and actress Emily Ratajkowski, known from the Hollywood blockbuster "Gone Girl", took part in this international project.
"Besides the fact that Emily is really a very beautiful girl, she is also a great professional. On the whole, I found it very comfortable to work: on the site was warm and friendly atmosphere. This is always the case when you are surrounded by people, united by a common idea. In my opinion, we have been able to fully display the songs' message: we bring people together from the two continents in such a difficult time for the world, and took off with a story based on love. I hope that in this way we are going with small steps towards each other"said Dima Bilan.

It's already 1,5 week ago since the Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 took place in Globen Arena in Stockholm. After an entertaining show, hosted by last years winner Måns Zelmerlöw and Petra Mede, and an very exciting new voting system it was Ukrainian singer Jamalawho won the contest with her song "1944".
For the first time a new voting system was used for the Eurovision Song Contest this year. Everything started with the jury votes from all 42 participating countries. Points 1 - 8 and 10 were directly shown on screen and only the final 12 points were announced from the speakers persons. After the jury votes it was Australian singer Dami Im who was on #1 with "Sound Of Silence". Jamalacame second with "1944", followed by Amirfrom France with "J'ai Cherché".
After the televoting it was clear that Ukrainian singer Jamalawill win with "1944". She "only" came second place in both, jury and televotes. But in the end she got more points than jury winner Dami Im from Australia and pulic favorite Sergey Lazarev from Russia.
Congratulations to Jamala and the whole team Ukraine for winning the 61st Eurovision Song Contest!
Jamala is a deserved winner. Her outstanding song and performance showed that it's maybe a little return to the main thing in Eurovision - it's about the song and not only about a perfect produced song and a perfect stage concept for the performance. Sometimes less is more - thank you Jamalaand see you next year in Ukraine!

we are very SORRY about the SILENCE on this blog in the last view weeks. Unfortunately the account was hacked after arriving Stockholm for the main Eurovision weeks.
