| Mørland - "No Firewall" (Released: 28.08.2015) |
Mørland and Debrah Scarlett represented Norway at the Eurovision Song Contest with the song "A Monster Like Me". They ended on 8th place in the Eurovision final in Vienna with 102 points.
Kjetil Mørland, who is writer and producer of his music, went straight back into the studio to work on a follow-up. He is now back with his first solo-single "No Firewall".
“The song is inspired by a close friend of mine and is about starting from square one after ending a relationship. Suddenly your all alone, without the safe environment you are used to. You don’t know we’re the road leads next – It’s exciting and scary at the same time.” said Mørland about "No Firewall".
With “No Firewall” Mørland shows a new side as a songwriter, and it moves into a more up-beat territory than “A Monster Like Me”, but still driven by Mørlands unique vocal. The dynamics in the song builds up throughout, and ends with an epic final chorus.
