Sweden: Frans wins "Melodifestivalen" with "If I Were Sorry"

The Swedish national final of "Melodifestivalen" took place yesterday in Stockholm with a fantastic line-up of 12 competing contestants. It was not a surprise that Frans was the lucky one in the end who won the competition with his entry "If I Were Sorry".

Frans was chosen with a mix of international jury votes (50%) and the televotes. While the jury gave their votes, it was still possible for the audience to vote for their favorite entry.

Frans is honored to represent Sweden at the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 in his home country Sweden. He will participate in the Eurovision final on 14th May 2016 with his song "If I Were Sorry".
