Portugal: RTP announced candidates for 'Festival da Canção 2015'


RTP, Portugese broadcaster, announced this years hopefuls for the national selection "Festival da Canção 2015". In total 12 contestants will perform in two Semi-Finals to get a ticket to the national final on 7th of March 2015. Here is the starting order for both Semi-Finals:

"Festival da Canção 2015" - Semi-Final 1 - Starting order:

  1. Rita Seidi - "Lisboa, Lisboa"
  2. Leonor Andrade - "Há um Mar que nos Separa"
  3. Filipa Baptista - "A Noite Inteira"
  4. Yola Dinis - "Outra Vez Primavera"
  5. Gonçalo Tavares - "Tu Tens uma Mágica" 
  6. Adelaide Ferreira - "Paz"

"Festival da Canção 2015" - Semi-Final 2 - Starting order:

  1. Rubi Machado - "Quando a Lua Voltar a Passar"
  2. José Freitas - "Mal Menor (Ninguém me Guia à Razão)"
  3. Teresa Radamanto - "Um Fado em Viena"
  4. Simone de Oliveira - "À Espera das Canções"
  5. Filipe Gonçalves - "Dança Joana"
  6. Diana Piedade - "Maldito Tempo"

"Festival da Canção 2015" - Show dates:

Suzy won last year the final of "Festival da Canção" with her party song "Quero ser tua". Her song was very popular in Copenhagen, but failed to qualify to the Eurovision final. The winner of "Festival da Canção" will perform on 21st of May 2015 in the second Semi-Final (first half) in Vienna. Who should represent Portugal at the Eurovision Song Contest this year in Austria?
