The 9th Eurovision Gala Night takes place on 22nd October 2016 in Echternach (Luxembourg). Tickets are already available since weeks in three categories (38,75 € - 66,25 € ).
Now it's time to announce the first Eurovision live act for this years Gala Night, organized byOGAE Luxembourg. It's Verka Serduchka from Ukraine! Yes, it was Verka Serduchka who came second in the Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2007 in Helsinki. For sure you remember his party song "Dancing Lasha Tumbai" - do you?!
Verka Serduchka will be live on stage with his band and Mama. Everyone who already joined one of his concerts can truely say - DON'T MISS IT! More Live acts will be confirmed in the forthcoming weeks.
Earlier this year 14 singers have been already selected in a casting to perform in the first part of the Eurovision Gala Night in the "Cover Contest". You wanna know who they are? Find out here.

Måns Zelmerlöw won 2015 the Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna with "Heroes". This year he hosted Eurovision together with Petra Mede and premiered his latest single "Fire In The Rain" live on Eurovision stage in Stockholm.

It's only one more night till the first EuroStarz event takes place in The Star of Kings in London. Nicki French, who represented UK in Eurovision 2000 with "Don't Play That Song Again", will host the event.
Today the team of EuroStarz confirmed Emmelie de Forest, Winner of the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 for Denmark with "Only Teardrops".
Emmelie de Forest completes tomorrows line up and for sure she will also sing the official anthem "Rainmaker" from Eurovision 2014.
Besides ESC Winner Emmelie de Forest these acts will come together for the premiere of this Eurovision event in London.

Ivi Adamou represented Cyprus at the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 in Baku with the song "La La Love". She ended on 16th place in the Eurovision final with 65 points. Do you remember her party song?

Icelandic singer, songwriter and violinist Greta Salóme represented her country twice in Eurovision. 2012 together with Jonsi and the song "Never Forget" and this year in Stockholm with the song "Hear Them Calling".
In the last month after Eurovision Greta was working in her studio on new material. Greta Salóme released last Friday her new single "Row" and premiered the official video yesterday on youtube.

"Row" is a modern electro pop song with some rock elements in the end. The video for "Row" was shot at Reykjanes peninsula in the rough lava fields. Director of the video was David Luther and it's produced by Silent Production.

In 11days a new Eurovision fan event takes place for the fist time in London. EuroStarz in Concert takes place on 25th August 2016 in London. The venue will be The Star of Kings, which is a modern British pub on three floors with a basement space fo music events and club nights. The evening will be hosted by the one and only Nicki French, who represented UK at the Eurovision Song Contest 2000. Besides Nicki there are four more former Eurovision acts confirmed to perfom in London.

Valentina Monetta: It was Valentina Monetta who represented three time in a row San Marino at the Eurovision Song Contest with songs written by Ralph Siegel. 2012 she tried her luck with "The Social Network Song" (SF1 #14). One year later it was "Crisalide (Vola)" which surprising failed to qualify to the Eurovision final by ending on #11. Finally! 2014 Valentinamade it to the Eurovision final with "Maybe (Force)" and ended on #24.
Karl William Lund: 2016 returned BBC to a national preselection called "Eurovision: You Decide". Karl William Lund was one of the contestants with the song "Miracle". He didn't made it to Stockholm, but after his participation he was already invited to some other Eurovision fan events.

Anggun represented France at the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 in Baku with the song "Echo (You and I)". Do you remember her Eurovision entry?
Singer and songwriter Anggun won many international awards (Francophone Song of the Year, Woman of the Year, World's Best Selling Indonesian Artist...) and released her latest album "Toujours un ailleurs" end of 2015.

Anggun will be part of the international music project ENIGMA.
ENIGMAis produced by Michael Cretu, who is also well known as producer from German 80's superstar SANDRA("Maria Magdalena", "Hiroshima", "Everlasting Love"...).
ENIGMAreleased in the last 25 years 7 studio album and sold more than 70 mio copies worldwide with 60 #1 album and 100 platinum awards. One of the songs from the second album "The Cross Of Changes" was soundtrack of the Hollywood blockbuster "Sliver" with Sharon Stone.

Rykka represented Switzerland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 in Stockholm with her song "The Last Of Our Kind", but failed to qualify to the Eurovision final.
Some weeks later she released her brand new single called "Bad Boy" from the fortcoming album "Beatitudes".
"It's about knowing what you want and knowing what you want to leave behind." wrote Rykka on Facebook about the song.
Rykka premiered two days ago her video for "Bad Boy" on youtube. The video is directed by Brianne Nord-Stewart.

It's already two years ago since Latvian band Arzemnieki represented their country at the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 in Copenhagen with the song "Cake To Bake". Do you remember their entry?
Now it's time for new music from Jöran Steinhauer (singer) and Arzemnieki. In the last months they were working on new material and the first song is "Cauri Grobinai". The song is written and composed by Jöran himself. On the video release date they posted this message on Facebook... Dear friends! Our new clip is out! We hope so much you'll like it! It's just a start. to be short: during the last 2 years I've been written so many latvian songs – now it's just the time to record and publish them. One after the other. Untill Christmas we're going to publish several original songs – starting today, with a song about the small Latvian town called „Grobina“. Everyone, going to the latvian coast town Liepaja, is nearly forced to pass by Grobina. As there are so many great songs about the Latvian „City of Rock 'n' Roll“, Liepaja – I've never heard any song about its neighbour town: Grobina. Finally I've found the right company to perform those songs – and write a whole lot of new ones! We give each other a certain drive, an inspiration and energy, I have never received before. So it looks like, that finally the PROJECT „Aarzemnieki“ step by step turns out to become the BAND „Aarzemnieki". The band members are a bunch of interesting, intercultural guys, all connected to Latvia. And – after all - this is what „Aarzemnieki“ is all about: We do our best to connect people who keep an interest for Latvia and the Latvian language – NO MATTER where they have been born or which passport they've got. More informations about the band members, where we met, who they are and so on... will follow soon on our social platforms. There's even an album in the pipeline.
