Eurovision Gala Night 2016: Verka Serduchka confirmed!

The 9th Eurovision Gala Night takes place on 22nd October 2016 in Echternach (Luxembourg). Tickets are already available since weeks in three categories (38,75 €  - 66,25 € ).

Now it's time to announce the first Eurovision live act for this years Gala Night, organized by OGAE Luxembourg. It's Verka Serduchka from Ukraine! Yes, it was Verka Serduchka who came second in the Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2007 in Helsinki. For sure you remember his party song "Dancing Lasha Tumbai" - do you?!

Verka Serduchka will be live on stage with his band and Mama. Everyone who already joined one of his concerts can truely say - DON'T MISS IT! More Live acts will be confirmed in the forthcoming weeks.

Earlier this year 14 singers have been already selected in a casting to perform in the first part of the Eurovision Gala Night in the "Cover Contest". You wanna know who they are? Find out here.

Tickets in three categories are on sale since some weeks:

• Cat 1 => 49,75 € 
• Cat 2 => 38,75 € 
• Golden Circle > 66,25 €

The show in itself consists of two parts:

• Part 1: A song contest in which 12 finalists, selected in a casting, will compete by singing a song from the Eurovision repertoire
• Part 2: A concert including a couple of Eurovision artists
