One of the most spectacular song finding process - The Melodifestivalen in Sweden - starts for their competition for Swedens Song in Austria next year.
Swedens Broadcaster just published this years rules. After their third place in Kopenhagen the executive producent of the Melodifestivalen - Christer Björkman - made the statement, that they will implement the proud of this good result into their work for finding the best Swedish Song for Wien, Graz or Innsbruck.
Last year the rules included that at least 20% of the song writers has to be female. For next years competition SVT even rise this percentage up to 50%. Song writers may now start to find their songs since from 1st of September on they can submit the song with the deadline being the 16th of September.

Sweden is one on the most sucessful country in the ESC. With only one time not reaching the final (2010 in Oslo) they always participating in the final.
