DENMARK: 'Cliche Love Song' from Basim wins 'Dansk Melodi Grand Prix'


Tonight it was the 'Dansk Melodi Grand Prix' in Demark were 10 acts fighted for the ticket to represent Denmark in this years Eurovision Song Contest in Copenhagen on 10th of May.

How to find the winner? 

After all ten acts have peformed the public voting opened. It was a combination of jury voting and public voting (50/50). After the first round we had three qualifiers for the 'Grand Final'.
  • Rebekka Thornbech - Your Lies
  • Basim - Cliche Love Song
  • Michael Rune feat. Natascha Bessez - Wanna be Loved
All three acts performed again their song befor the second voting round has started. 

As interval act we saw last years winner Emmelie de Forest with the Eurovision 2014 anthem called 'Rainmaker'. In the final part of the song all the acts from 'Dansk Melodi Grand Prix' sung with her.
