Only three days before this years Eurovision Gala Night took place in Mondorf-les-Bains (Luxembourg) this years Eurovision Song Contest winner Conchita had to cancel her participation. These days she is very busy and yesterday she had to shoot the video for her next single 'Heroes', so she found no way to handle everything - that's why she had to decide to cancel to be part of the Eurovision Gala 2014.

"Hello everyone, I am VERY sorry I will not be able to be with you at the Eurovision Gala Night this evening! ;( There was unfortunately no way I could make it although we tried to shift everything… At the same time I am very happy that Loreen will be there with you!!! In the beginning of the evening after the Eurovision Gala intro it was shown a video message from Conchita...
Instead of Conchita it was confirmed also in the last minutes that one of the most successful Eurovision Song Contest winner - Loreen from Sweden - will be live on stage in Luxembourg.
