Laing with Barbara Schöneberger (Host of 'USfÖ')
Hello everyone, first of all gratulations that you are one of the chosen participants for the German National Final  ‘Unser Song für Österreich’ on 5th of March 2015.

It's one day before the German national final of 'USfÖ' in Hannover. Yesterday you already had your rehearsal for your songs 'Zeig deine Muskeln' and 'Wechselt die Beleuchtung'. These moments you finished the press conference with the other contestants. How do you feel right now, are you excited?
Larissa: We are very excited. We ar extremely thirsty now and we can't wait to perform tomorrow in the final of 'USfÖ' :-)
Nicola: Now we know the stage and that everthing works on stage what we planed. We are ready for the final :)

Are you happy with your rehearsals and the stage settings?
Nicola: If everything (outfit, lights...) comes togehter on stage, it is quite consistent. First we were quite shocked that videos and pictures from our rehearsal yesterday were so quickly on the internet, because we all wanted to keep it as secret until the TV show tomorrow. Well, but then we saw the picutres and videos on the internet and now we are happy about how it looks :)
Larissa: Yesterday we had a 45 minutes soundcheck with the bicycles and our song 'Zeig mir deine Muskeln'. Of course after some time you are out of breath if you do all the time everything together. Especially for this song we set the bikes, because the song is about sport and we found that it fits quite well if we exhaust ourselves in such a way.

How important is it for you to participate in the German national selection?
Johanna: It's very important to us. We have the chance to perform in front of a big audience, not only in the arena, also on television all over Europe. We hope the people like what we do :)
Larissa: It's nice to be invited to such a big event you never took part before. The Eurovision Song Contest is not unknown to us, but we were not so involved. Now it's like a invitation - someone opens the big gate and you may occur. We have great respect for the national final and we are honored that we are a part of it.

Who had the idea to participate in the German national selection 2015?
Nicola: Well.. it was the idea from all of us. We took part in the 'Bundesvision Song Contest' 2012 with the song 'Morgens immer müde' and we came second place.

Nicola: Since that time we were asked again and again from the fans, the press and of course from our record company if we would like to participate in the national selection for Germany. Well, the Eurovision Song Contst is a very big international thing and one day we thought "Ok, now we are ready..". We played a lot of live concerts and we know what we can.. 2015 we decided to participate in 'USfÖ' and here we are :)

Do you think it's an advantage for you that you already participated in 'Bundesvision Song Contest'?
Johanna: I think for all of us it's easier to classify better.
Marita: For all of us it's definitely useful that we have the experience with the 'Bundesvision Song Contest'.
Larissa: We already showed at the 'Bundesvision Song Contest' that we love big productions and that we can handle big stages. For us it was important to have a good concept to use the only three minutes and stage as best as we can to make it to something spectacular. Exactly for that we ended last time on second place :-) Of course there are big expectations about "What will they do this time?!". We had a lot of fun with this challenge :)

Who decided 'Zeig deine Muskeln' und 'Wechsel die Beleuchtung' for the 'USfÖ'?
Nicola: We selected the songs together. Both are from our recent album 'Wechselt die Beleuchtung'. It was a challenge for us to select songs for a special performance and songs which could be good for a international event. With 'Zeig deine Muskeln' we are doing sport on stage, so it's easy to understand what is the message of the song, even if you don't understand the language.

Do you have a personal messag for our readers?
Laing: Of course, let's record a video message for them :-)

Thank you so much for answer those questions. Good luck for you and your songs tomorrow in the German final of 'Unser Song für Österreich' and maybe we see you with one of the songs in Vienna :-)
Laing: Thank you! We would be very happy about it :)
