The band Voltaj represented Romania at the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 in Vienna with the song "De la capat / All Over Again". They ended on 15th place in the Grand Final with 35 points.
Some days ago they performed a special "Symphonic Version" from the Eurovision entry. Have you already seen?

French broadcaster France 2 announced some days ago that the act for Eurovision Song Contest 2016 will be presented on 12th March 2016.
France will chose again internally the contestant who will represent the country at the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 in Stockholm. The last years France wasn't successful in the contest. Two years ago ended the fun guys from Twin Twin on last place with only 2 points in the final with their song "Moustache".
Who will represent France this year in Sweden? The only known thing is that the song will be sung in two languages. A part will be in French and the other part in English.
Lisa Angell was chosen internally last year to represent France at the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 in Vienna. Her song "N'oubliez pas"ended on a dissapointing 25th place in the Grand Final.

The Spanish national final of "Objetivo Eurovisión" took place on Monday in Madrid at the Adisar Studios and was hosted by Anne Igartiburu. In total were six contestants in the battle to win the competition. In a mix of jury and televotes Spain decided to send Barei to Stockholm with her uptempo song "Say Yay!".

GPB, Georgian broadcaster, chose internally to send Nika Kocharov and the Young Georgian Lolitaz to represent Georgia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 in Stockholm. Some weeks ago they called out for potential songs. More than 100 songs were submitted. Internally were five potential songs chosen. The entries were presented to the audience on Wednesday.

"We Agree" (written by Nika Kocharov and Vazha Marri)

The audience has now time till 15th February to vote for their favorite entry via call or sms. In the same time a international jury also will give their votes. The winning song will be a combination by the audience and the jury (50/50).
The winning song will be presented in a live show called "Communicator" on 15th February 2016. The voting will be mix of 50% televotes and 50% from a international expert jury.

Wayne William represented as part of the family band Firelight Malta at the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 with the song "Coming Home". They ended on 23rd place in the Eurovision final.

LTV announced yesterday 19 candidates with 20 songs for this years national selection "Supernova 2016". Samanta Tīna has two entries in the competition. The national final takes place on 28th February 2016 in Riga.
In the list are well known faces from last years competition. Markus Riva participated 2014 with the song "Lights On" in the national selection (Top 10). Last year he was very close to win "Supernova" with his song "Take Me Down". Behind Aminatahe ended on 2nd place in the national final. Aminata Savadogo won last year the final with her song"Love Injected". Her song made it very well in Vienna and ended on 6th place. This year she returns to the competition as composer for the song "Heartbeat" from Justs Sirmais. The band Elektro Folk is also very well known from last years competition. Their song "Sundance" ended on 3rd place in the Latvian final of "Supernova".
"We are very pleased that this year we have entered the Supernova. The song is called "Miracle Drums", the sound of which is different from all that ElektroFolk have previously done. Message of the song: At a time when the world increasingly louder sounds of war drums and everything we see and hear all around us and perhaps preparing something that we do not want to experience. So we have the story of the war drums sounding ever louder , and if people will not be able to hear anything different, then we have to play the drums, but our drum is the "Miracle Drums", which will be called all the fighters back home and love." said Iveta Baumane from ElektroFolk after the announcement from LTV.
