Sweden: Result "Melodifestivalen 2017" - Semi-Final 2

The second Semi-Final of Melodifestivalen 2017 in Malmö brought us on Saturday two more finalists and two more contestants for the second chance show Andra Chansen. Seven contestants performed their possible Eurovision entry in Malmö, but only two of them got the ticket straight to the national final, which is scheduled for 11th of March 2017. The show was hosted by Clara Henry, David Lindgren and Hasse Andersson.

Qualified for the "Melodifestivalen" Final:
  1. Mariette - "A Million Years"
  2. Benjamin Ingrosso - "Good Lovin'"

Ticket for 'Andra Chansen' (Second Chance) on 4th of March: 
  1. Lisa Ajax - "I Don’t Give A"
  2. Dismissed - "Hearts Align"
The journey is over for Roger Pontare, Etzia and Allyawan.

  • 25.02.2017 - Semi-Final 4 - Skellefteå
  • 04.03.2017 - Andra Chansen - Linköping
  • 11.03.2017 - Final - Stockholm

Frans won Melodifestivalen 2016 and represented Sweden at the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 in Stockholm. His song "If I Were Sorry" ended on 5th place in the Eurovision final.

The winner of "Melodifestivalen 2017" will participate in the first semi-final on 9th May 2017 in Kyiv. Who will represent Sweden at the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 in Ukraine?
