Portugal: Tonight! 'Festival da Canção' - Final


In the last week six out of twelve contestants were chosen in two Semi-Finals (Tuesday & Thursday). Portugal will decide tonight in the national final of "Festival da Canção 2015". who will represent Portugal at the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 in Vienna.

Suzy won last year the final of "Festival da Canção" with her party song "Quero ser tua". The winner of "Festival da Canção" will perform on 21st of May 2015 in the second Semi-Final (first half) in Vienna. Who should represent Portugal at the Eurovision Song Contest this year in Austria? Germany: Winners Press Conference Ann Sophie


The German national selection came to an end on Thursday in the final of 'Unser Song für Österreich'. After Andreas Kümmert rejected to represent Germany at the Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna the ticket went to Ann Sophie. She is now honored to perform 'Black Smoke' in the Eurovision final on 23rd of May in Vienna.

Before the winners press conference begun the people in the press center talked about what happened that evening. Sure, we all should respect Andreas desicion to reject. But why he waited so long until he rejected?! Is it fair for the 3rd place, who got not the chance to perform in the final? We got no answers in the press conference.. The only statement came from Andreas on stage after the announcement. He was not at the press conference..

Thomas Schreiber (NDR) opened the press conference and talked about how satisfied he is with the show and that all artists did a very good and professional job. The atmosphere in the hall was very good and the most of the artists got standing ovations. In total 4500 people joined the show in the Tui Arena. He also explained the process how to select the artists for the selection together with record labels.

"We only can accept the decision of Andreas. We have with Ann Sophie a very strong singer with 'Black Smoke' a very strong song. We should be happy about that she will represent our country at the 60th Eurovision Song Contest this year." said Thomas Schreiber.




"I already had the emotion that I didn't made it. I came second.. I have respect what Andreas did and.. of course, I'm very thankful that I can go to Vienna now. It was a big dream of me and now I'm going with my favorite song". said Ann Sophie.

Sweden: Tonight! 'Melodifestivalen 2015' - Andra Chansen


The 'Second Chance' show from 'Melodifestivalen 2015' will take place tonight in Helsingborg. The show will be hosted by Sanna Nielsen, who represented Sweden last year in Copenhagen with 'Undo' and Robin Paulsson. Seven contestants will perform their possible entry and here is tonights hopefuls...

UK: Tonight! "The UK Reveal"


BBC, Britsh broadcaster, will announce tonight who represents UK at the 60th Eurovision Song Contest 2015 in Vienna. Scott Mills (BBC Presenter) will announce the act for Eurovision 2015 tonight. Straight after 'THE VOICE' the waiting will come to an end.

Thre press read starts around 10:25 pm (cet) and you can watch it live on BBC1 or online on BBC Eurovision. Shortly after the announcement the song will be online on Eurovision.tv
"Ultimately, one song stood out as having both instant impact and real memory staying power." said Guy Freeman (Producer) about the song. 

For the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 BBC had chosen Molly internally with her song 'Children Of The Universe'. She represented her country in Copenhagen and ended only on 17th place.

As one of the 'BIG 5' countries UK is qualified for the Eurovision final on 23rd of May 2015. Who will represent UK in Vienna? Find it out tonight!

Malta: PBS premieres 'Warrior' video on Monday 9th of March

Amber won the 'Malta Eurovision Song Contest (MESC)' with her song 'Warrior'. PBS will premiere her video on Monday, 9th of March 2015.
"WARRIOR" was written especially for me and allows me to demonstrate my vocal range. It’s an inspirational song. It’s about not letting your problems engulf you. The message is to never give up but find your inner warrior and conquer. I hope people will find it inspirational." she told us about the song. 
Middle of February they started to shoot the video for Amber's Eurovision entry. It was shot in a 400 years old house in Rabat.  Although the house is not habitable it contains precious murals which provide a perfect backdrop for the filming. The scene creates a contrast between the musicians, who have their faces covered, and Amber, who emerges as the positive protagonist.

“The moment I sing here I feel a lot of emotions. I hope that my fans can share this feeling when they listen to my song” Amber said on the set.

“Working on the music video is definitely an unforgettable experience. The song is the star in the music video. The mystery and darkness represented in the environment are defeated by the will and the strength of the “Warrior” living inside me”, expressed Amber totally excited after viewing the finished video for the first time.
Amber performs 'Warrior' on 19th of May 2015 in the second Semi-Final (first half) of the 60th Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna.

Germany: Ann Sophie to Vienna!


The German national final of 'Unser Song für Österreich' took place yesterday in the Tui Arena in Hannover. In total eight acts were competing for the ticket to Vienna. It was a fantastic show with eight complete different music styles.

In the super final Germany had to decide between Andreas Kümmert with 'Heart of Stone' and Ann Sophie ('Wildcard' winner 'Clubconert') with 'Black Smoke'. Barbara Schöneberger, who hosted the show, announced Andreas Kümmert as the winner of 'USfÖ'... Only some moments after the announcement Andreas Kümmert said to the audience:
"I'm very thankful that you like my music and for all your support. At the moment it's not possible for me to accept the choice. I give the victory to Ann Sophie.."
The whole arena were shocked about what happened in that moment.. Barbara spoke to him to make it clear..
"You say that you don't want to go to Vienna because it could be not your world?"
"I think she is a much better choice than me... I'm sorry.." answered Andreas. 

Andreas left the stage and Barbara announced Ann Sophie, who came second in the final, as WINNER of 'Unser Song für Österreich'. She will represent her country in May with her song 'Black Smoke'. Here you can see the winners performance..


"I love 'Back Smoke' and I'm very happy and thankful that I get the chance to represent Germany with this song at the 60th Eurovision Song Contest in May in Vienna." said Ann Sophie after the show.

Germany: Tonight! 'USfÖ' - Final


Germany will decide tonight who will represent the country at the 60th Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna. The final of 'Unser Song für Österreich' takes place tonight live from Hannover.

In total there will be eight finalists on stage, one of them is the lucky 'Wildcard' winner, Ann Sophie. The show will be hosted by Barbara Schöneberger. Janin Reinhardt will talk to the participants in the green room.

Each act needs two songs for the German national final. After the first round 8 acts will be reduced down to four. Those four will perform their second entry. In the so called 'Superfinal' the last two acts will peform again their possible Eurovision entry. It's a 100 % televote to chose the winner of 'USfÖ'.

Germany: Exclusive! Interview with Ann Sophie "I love 'Black Smoke' and I hope to get the chance to perform it in the final of 'USfÖ'"


Ann Sophie won on 19th of Februray 2015 the 'Wildcard' for the German national selection 'Unser Song für Österreich'. She completed the line-up for the final in Hannover with her songs called 'Jump The Gun' and 'Black Smoke'. She will perform today in the German national final.
