The names of the first 15 acts competing to represent Belgium in the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 have been revealed, as well as the famous Eurovision songs they will cover in the casting shows.
The acts will all perform a Eurovision Song Contest hit of their choice in the first casting show, which was recorded in December 2013. The first casting show will be on air tonight.

Roberto Bellarosa represented Belgium at the Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö and reached 12th place in the Eurovision final with 71 points for his song 'Love Kills'.
In yesterdays live performers audition 60 participants have sung in front of a jury to qulify for one of the two Semi-Finals in Moldova. At the end the jury has chosen 24 participants for their national selection.

24 qualifiers for Molodva's Semi-Finals on March 11th and 13th:
RÚV, the broadcaster from Iceland, already announced this years participants for their national selection 'Söngvakeppnin'. 10 acts are fighting for the ticket to Copenhagen in two Semi-Finals. One of them will be tonight and the second Semi-Final is on February 8th.
Broadcaster TRM from Moldova announced 40 participants to qualify for the National Final. Live performaners audition will take place on February 1st on Casa Radio. In that audition 24 will qualify for the National Final. The show started at 11 am today and is still on air.
Tonight will start this years Melodifestivalen in the Eurovsion Song Contest city Malmö with the first 8 acts in the first semifinal. The first and runner up will participate in the grand final on the 8th of March in Stockholm. The artist on third and fourth place will have another chance on the "second chance" show on the 1st of March before in Lidköping.
Helena Paparizou won the Eurovision Song Contest 2005 in Kiev with her smash hit 'My Number One' for Greece. Her song got 230 points as end result. You remember this song? I'm pretty sure ;)
YOHIO is also well known from last years Melodifestivalen contest with the song 'Heartbreak Hotel'. Well.. I think this song would have been aso a good choice to represent Sweden 2013 in Malmö.

Switzerland will vote tonight for the Eurovision 2014 participant in their National Final 'ESC 2014 - Entscheidungsshow'. This event will take place in the Bodensee-Arena in Kreuzlingen.
Six acts will perform in that show their songs and each of them will perform one cover song.
